JAC
Planning Corp. performed environmental consulting services in connection
with an application to reconfigure the approved site plan for a food and
entertainment complex in Islip, New York. Whereas ±15,841 S.F. for
restaurant use and an additional ±72,870 S.F. of retail space was
previously identified on the site plan, the applicant desired approval
of ±71,000 S.F. for restaurant use and ±17,711 S.F. of retail use. The
same overall square footage of development for the complex would remain
unchanged.
JAC Planning Corp. prepared a Draft Supplemental
Environmental Impact Statement (DSEIS) to assess the proposed
modification of the approved Carleton Avenue Food and Entertainment
Center. The significant issues analyzed in the DSEIS included:
Surface Water/Stormwater Management
Vegetation
Wildlife
Traffic and Pedestrian Activities
Air Quality
Noise
Economics/Taxes Generated
Conformance to Islip Town Master Plan for Central Islip
