EDUCATION:

B.A., History and Political Science, Fordham University, 2005

EXPERIENCE:

 

Ms. Jardine is a Technical Typist and data entry person responsible for assisting on public outreach efforts on various NYSDOT projects, including maintaining various PIP Reports, including clipping newspaper articles and filing relevant public correspondence.  She assists in arranging meeting locations for public meetings and hearings and in confirming attendance by participants, etc.  She currently assists in responding to public input and comments regarding on-going projects, such as the Long Island Travel and Information Centers (LITIC) project for callers responding to a sign at the LIE Exit 51 rest area site, as well as residents calling with questions regarding the status of noise wall design and construction in the LIE/CIP Interchange Improvement Project area.  Additionally, she assists in the production of large-scale mailings, in terms of producing mailing labels, stuffing, stamping and mailing information to be disseminated to the public.

 

Prior to working for JAC Planning Corp., Ms. Jardine was a Case Manager employed with Chrysalis, in Santa Monica, CA.  Her duties included providing case management for homeless and low-income individuals; Coaching clients in setting goals and to developing skills needed to secure employment; Evaluating clients’ potential barriers to employment; referring to appropriate partner agencies; facilitating classes relating to job search skills; and creating and improving existing curriculum.
